Today’s youth are tomorrow’s citizens and today’s generation is not just tech savvy but can also multi task.
SCHOOL TV: A Video Educational Programme designed by NDTV aims to develop and mould the wonderful creativity in each child and provide them with learning experiences they will cherish all their life. SCHOOL TV is all about making learning fun because for students today, technology is not an extra, but an essential when it comes to learning.
School has procured a State of art media kit which include a Professional SD/HD Camera , A Tripod support system, Wireless and Handheld MIC Kit, On Camera LED Light, A Lap Top with Video Editing Software , Soft Carrying case and Necessary connecting cables & connectors, A Professional Earphone and 1 SD Card.
City International School in association with NDTV aims to provide students the unique opportunity to enhance their communication and creative skills through video production. The kit will benefit the students in more ways than one by providing today’s digital generation an outlet for their creative energy and giving the children a sense of pride, self confidence and independence. SCHOOL TV is a great opportunity for students interested in current affairs with a flair for reporting to have access to equipment and training they would not have otherwise. SCHOOL TV is an initiative for the students of today to become the mass communicators tomorrow.
Our BBC Club students were a part of 3 day training workshop organized by NDTV called the ‘Budding Journalists’ on the 16, 17 and 18 of December 2013. NDTV experts trained our students on both the camera and editing software and also taught them presentation skills and the basics of scriptwriting. At the end of the training workshop on day 3, the students were divided into groups and each group was asked to script, shoot and edit their own short video.
Now our students have started using the equipment for covering all our internal school events like Special Assemblies, Annual Athlete Sports Meet,
Election of the Student’s Council, Christmas Party… etc. |
