 Stand with Malala Campaign in India
MalalaYousafzai, the acclaimed Nobel Peace Prize laureate has a sole purpose to spread the awareness of the importance of educating a girl child.

We at City International School are proud to stand by her and support her in this noble cause. Hope that this video clipping will inspire all its viewers and create a snowball effect.
 
 Clean India, Green India
The students of City International School - Green School Club members and Teachers participated in the NDTV-CLEANATHON Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan drive to clean the school ground and its premises. They began the drive by cleaning with brooms and picking up the waste donned with gloves and mask.

The students also carried placards and charts with slogans like Go Green, Plant more trees etc. They hereby spread the message of “Clean India, Green India”.

The efforts put by the students and teachers was appreciable. At the end of the drive the students thanked the Principal for giving them an opportunity to be a part of “Clean India!!!”.

 Winner of MoMSpace Video Competition - 2014-2015
Indian Space Station announced a competition to celebrate the successful completion of “Mangalyaan or MoM Space mission by ISRO”. As a part of the competition, the students were encouraged to create a 5-minute video based on the data or some scenarios related to Mangalyaan.                     

City International School, Mumbai participated in the above competition and have qualified along with 3 entries from different schools. The students showed some of their best creative side by including different phases of Mangalyaan mission starting from the mission proposal to mission launch in their video. The students have developed an interesting 5-minute video and have given justice to the topic.

However, the ISS team has taken the decision  based some of the important factors like:
  1. Complexity of the entry
  2. Scientific facts used in the video
  3. Loop-holes in the video
  4. Public polling

Considering the above factors, City International School, Andheri (W), Mumbai has been declared the winner of  MoMSpace Video Competition - 2014-2015
   
 
 How do I see Science?
Received "Silver Beaver Award"  for the Film 'How do I see Science?' made by our students of Class IX at the National Science Film Festival and Competition 2015 at the Regional Science City, Lucknow.
